Our youth consists of High School students who meet every Friday night @ 7pm. Under competent leadership they are taught the Word, worship together and are equipped in all aspects of life. Our youth is a vibrant group that is relevant in its approach to reach the younger generation.
Every Sunday during our service this awesome bunch of kids get together for a time of worship and teaching aimed at their specific age groups.
We aim to have a generation of kids who love the Lord and produce effective fruits in their daily lives. We aim to develop the character of Christ in these kids so that they can stand strong against the daily attacks from the devil. Our vision is to guide, train and teach a generation how to apply Biblical principles in their lives to produce the fruits of the Spirit and character on Christ by community, discipleship and prayer.
Bet Shalom is a family church that caters for the whole family. The Toddler Care Team take care and look after Toddlers age 2-5 years, during Sunday morning service. This enables Parents of Toddlers to attend the service with peace of mind that their kids are being looked after. We build a Godly foundation in the lives of our Toddlers by teaching and sharing with them GOD’s word through various mediums/forms. The Toddler Care Team consists of Believing Mothers and Youth Members who makes sure the kids are being looked after. The bible says, “Train up a child in the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it”.
Through bible stories and Praise and Worship, we teach them about GOD, what GOD has done for us and the impact GOD has in our lives. Being able to plant a Godly seed in the lives of our Toddlers is an honour as some of the kids attend Sunday school without their parents attending our church. Our hope is in knowing that GOD will grow the seed that we have planted in these kids’ hearts into something bigger and greater than we can ever imagine. After Toddlers have reached the age of 5 years, they join the Bet-Shalom Children’s Ministry for Sunday School Classes (Kids Church).
Our aim is to lead the congregation through praise and worship and to help them connect with Christ through music. It is such a special part of our service!
Jesus wants us to connect with Him on a spiritual level, not just physical or emotional. Worshipping Jesus brings us closer to Him because we are made to worship God. Jesus says let everything that has breath praise Him. We are created to worship Jesus. When things are not going as planned, praise God, praise Him until your circumstances change. Jesus will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will direct your path in the right direction.
When we worship, we surrender our lives unto God. We must have a personal relationship with Him and we do that by praising and worshipping Jesus Christ. We must become less so that God becomes more. Let Him into your life, you will never be the same. We as Christians must be the change, through love, that we want to see in the world.
James 1:27 “Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world.” (Message Bible)

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
